Taken at Dusk

The book Taken at Dusk was written by Christie Craig, also known as C. C. Hunter, and is a teen fiction novel. It is the third book in the series of Shadow Falls. The main characters are Kylie Galen, Della Tsang, Burnett James, Lucas Parker, Fredericka Lakota, Miranda Cane, Holiday Branden, Perry Gomez, and Derek Lakes. This series has witches, fairies, vampires, werewolves, and the unidentified species is still continued to be unknown. Kylie is falling for Lucas Parker now and is trying to figure out her real family. She has this ghost, who can’t remember anything, that appears out of nowhere and tries to tell her the same warning over and over. Will it ever remember its past or anything to help Kylie? Will something else traumatic happen? Does she finally meet her true grandparents?

“Step into Shadow Falls, a camp for teens with supernatural powers. Here friendship thrives, love takes you by surprise, and our hearts possess the greatest magic of all.”
“Kylie Galen wants the truth so badly she can taste it. The truth about her real family, the truth about which boy she's meant to be with—and the truth about her emerging powers. But she's about to discover that some secrets can change your life forever…and not always for the better.”
“Just when she and Lucas are finally getting close, she learns that his pack has forbidden them from being together. Was it a mistake to pick him over Derek? And it's not just romance troubling Kylie. An amnesia-stricken ghost is haunting her, delivering the frightful warning, someone lives and someone dies. As Kylie races to unravel the mystery and protect those she loves, she finally unlocks the truth about her supernatural identity, which is far different—and more astonishing—than she ever imagined.”

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good mystery, fantasy, and a love story all mashed into one series. The more you read it, the more you enjoy it. It is an amazing book to read in your free time or anytime. I read this book in about three days because I never wanted to stop reading it. The book was very interesting and most definitely gets 5 ⭐ out of 5 ⭐.
